"Winning is a Team Game": 4L Collection Hotels Takes the Field for Childhood Diabetes Research
Winning is a team game: make your donation now and join us in the game against childhood diabetes.
At 4L Collection Hotels, we have always paid close attention to the well-being of our guests, as well as a deep commitment to social responsibility.
In collaboration with the I.R.C.C.S. Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, we are happy to launch “Winning is a team game”, a charity campaign aimed at raising funds to support research on childhood diabetes, conducted by the prestigious Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) of the I.R.C.C.S. Ospedale San Raffaele, the cutting-edge research center in the field of this pathology.
Childhood diabetes is a chronic disease that requires constant care and can have serious long-term complications. There is currently no definitive cure and children with diabetes must live with daily monitoring and limitations. The Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the I.R.C.C.S. Ospedale San Raffaele is committed to research to develop innovative therapies and prevent complications of this disease.
We want a world where childhood diabetes is prevented and treated thanks to the progress of scientific research. The mission of the project is to raise funds to accelerate the development of new therapies for children with diabetes, contributing to a future without disease. Our values, what we believe in and on which we base our activity: collaboration, innovation and solidarity. We believe that winning against diabetes is possible only by deploying as many resources and engaging as many skills as possible, in short, we are convinced that it is truly "a team game".
The donations collected, made at the receptions of the hotels of the 4L Collection Hotels group, will support the scientific research of the DRI, which focuses mainly on cellular therapies, advanced technologies for the management of diabetes and pancreatic islet transplants. Thanks to the funds raised, the I.R.C.C.S. Ospedale San Raffaele will be able to carry out projects that can change the future of young patients. All donors will participate in the drawing of an official Serie A soccer ball, signed by great names of international soccer (Francesco Totti, Luca Toni and many others).
